Question: Does the ball screw nut and screw is sold in one-piece?
Answer: Yes, nuts and screws are not sold separately.

Question: What is the maximum temperature of the ball screw?
Answer: 80°C, otherwise it will cause damage to the circulation parts and seals.

Question: Can the ball screw bear radial loads?
Answer: No, otherwise it may cause poor sliding and vibration, abnormal sound, thus shortening the service life.

Question: Are the ball screws shipped with grease?
Answer: Ball screw is filled with grease in the state of delivery.

Question: Can the ball screw be used vertically?
Answer: Yes, but pay attention to the installation, need to set the nut anti-fall mechanism to prevent the nut falling due to self weight.

Question: Does ball screw generally used with a linear guide?
Answer: Yes, the linear guide rail is mainly load-bearing, and ball screws are usually used for positioning and transmission.

Question: what kind of bearings are included in the suppoer ends of the ball screw?
Answer: The fixed side and support side bearings are not the same, the fixed side is usually angular contact ball bearing, and support side is usually ordinary deep groove ball bearing.

Question: What is the hardness of the screw, nut and ball?
Answer: Ground ball screw, nut: 58 ~ 62HRC
                 Rolled ball screw, nut: 56 ~ 62HRC
                 Steel balls: 62 ~ 66HRC

Question: What is the ball screw backlash? What causes it?
Answer: Ball screw backlash is the gap produced by the ball screw in the reverse direction. Ball screw can be divided into preload and backlash products, most of the high precision ball screws are preload, that is, between the screw and nut loaded the balls slightly larger than its gap, which produce a pressure between the screw and nut, its role is to prevent the ball screw reverse clearance. And the low precision ball screw are generally backlash products, that is, between the screw and nut loaded the balls slightly smaller than its gap, so that there is a clearance between the nut and the screw. Preload and backlash is relatively contradictory existence, in the situation of same processing accuracy of screw and nut, the greater the preload the higher the accuracy, the greater the driving force required the larger, the greater the ball screw wear, the greater the clearance the lower the accuracy, the driving more smoothly.

The cause of the backlash is the gap between the nut and the screw, the solution for single nut can enlarge the balls, double-nut can enlarge the balls and also adjust the relative distance between the main nut and vice nut. This generally requires professional handling.

Question: What should be paid attention to when installing the ball screw?
Answer: Ball screws are precision mechanical components, so the installation should pay attention to the following:
                 (1) Ball screw must be kept clean and wiped clean, so that no foreign matter enter the nut.
                 (2) Can not be any beat, and keep the appearance of no collision hurt.
                 (3) Surface finishing and cleaning of the mounting surface shall be thorough.
                 (4) Appropriate tolerances and precise corrections.
                 (5) Suitable lubrication.
                 (6) Do not separate the nut from the screw.
                 (7) It is advisable to install a bumper at both ends of the screw to avoid damage of operation beyond the stroke limit.
                 (8) Use a protective cover to protect the ball screw and dust proof.
